Each year MAS develops numerous private programs for individuals and groups seeking training and adventures outside the scope of the regular MAS calendar. Hiring a professional guide or instructor can provide the flexibility and focus to achieve your goals on your schedule. MAS enjoys working with folks to provide the best possible curriculum to meet your specific needs and desires. It is best
to contact MAS as early in the planning
process as possible. You should expect several exchanges with the
MAS office to develop, outline and finalize your program. It is
not uncommon for an MAS senior guide to contact clients directly to iron
out details or answer specific questions. |

Recreation Privates: Instructional or recreational days which last 7 hours. This category is considered "front-country" and is usually readily accessible via car and/or short hike. Prices reflect the cost of each person for one day.
Adventure Privates: Longer programs that can venue into "back-country" terrain and typically lasts for about 8 hours. Programs can include multi-pitch rock climbing days, mountaineering training camps, backpacking adventures including backcountry skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing. Prices reflect the cost of each person for one day.
Extreme Privates: are big adventures ranging from a very long day, such as a Grade VI multi-pitch rock climbing, to expedition-style mountaineering programs in remote areas. Prices reflect the cost of each person for one day.
Overnight Private Fees: When privates require an overnight with a guide the fees reflect the additional guides wage, food, permit and cooking supplies.
