Ebbetts Pass Century (EPC) – 2018 – Summer 2018 – check back for date –

 

The 11th Annual Ebbetts Pass Century is happening Summer 2018 – check back for date, with four routes to challenge a variety of cyclists. New this year is that all routes visit a final support station at Bear Valley Mountain for a special ice cream treat and a magnificent view into the Mokelumne Wilderness. Regardless which course you choose, you can expect great scenery, smooth roads, well-stocked support stations and some of the best cycling terrain in the country.

Ebbetts Pass Century

This demanding 98-mile century ride begins and ends in the scenic alpine village of Bear Valley at 7100 feet on Highway 4. Riders embark on some of the best cycling terrain in the Sierra Nevada with breathtaking vistas, challenging climbs and exhilarating descents. Strategic support stations keep riders fueled throughout the event with SAG support available on the “24% Pacific Grade” at mile 83!

Bear Valley Metric Century

This “super-scenic” ride packs a lot of punch while exploring some of the best terrain of the Ebbetts Pass Century including Spicer Reservoir, Lake Alpine and the west-side of Ebbetts Pass including the memorable 24% “Pacific Grade” at mile 52!

Bear Valley Half Century

This striking and enjoyable ride is a good balance of climbs, descents, distance and of course spectacular scenery.  This is a good ride to start acclimating to endurance cycling at altitude.

Stanislaus Quarter Century

A great introduction to the Sierra Nevada cycling with smooth roads, exhilarating descents & substantial climbs.  All the while surrounded by spectacular scenery with strategic supports stations to keep you pedaling.
