Backcountry Snowshoeing

Hiking doesn’t have to stop in the winter. If you enjoy visiting wild places you’ll be thrilled to know that snowshoeing can be a fun, energizing and beautiful way to experience the marvels of backcountry winters. The relative ease of snowshoeing allows folks to venture into the winter wilderness without the required years of ski and snowboard training.   Let MAS guide you efficiently and comfortably through spectacular winter scenery and experience for yourself the thrills of backcountry snowshoeing.

All MAS programs provide snowshoes, avalanche safety equipment and group gear as needed. Expect a blend of winter skills education, good exercise, plus time to enjoy the winter alpine environment.
